What this is

Church of Rave is a library of music-reactive visuals that run in your web browser, made by SpaceCatz Studios. Some are free; the rest come with a paid Pro license.

Privacy

Audio stays on your device. When the player listens to a microphone, line-in or shared tab, the sound is analysed on your own computer as it plays. It's never recorded, stored or uploaded.

Settings and keys are saved in your browser's local storage so they're remembered next time.

Now playing. If you use Last.fm, your browser asks Last.fm for your recent tracks using your username. If you connect Spotify, you sign in with Spotify directly, using your own Spotify developer app; the access token is stored in your browser and only used to ask Spotify what's playing. If you pick a text file, it's read on your device and never uploaded.

Purchases. Pro is sold through Ko-fi, which handles your payment under Ko-fi's privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details from Ko-fi, never your card details, and use your email only to send your license key and answer you. When you enter a key, your browser checks it on your device; it isn't sent anywhere.

We don't sell your data, and there are no ads. To ask about or delete your data, email .

Cookies and third parties

Our own site sets no cookies. Your settings, favourites, playlist and license key are kept in your browser's local storage, on your device, and you can clear them at any time in your browser's site settings. Nothing in local storage is sent to us.

Ko-fi. The "Support us on Ko-fi" button on the library and in the player is loaded from ko-fi.com. Loading it lets Ko-fi see your IP address and browser details, and Ko-fi may set its own cookies, under Ko-fi's privacy policy. If you click it, you leave this site for Ko-fi, and any support you send is handled between you and Ko-fi.

Fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when a page loads, under Google's privacy policy. Google Fonts doesn't set cookies.

Other services, only when you use them: Ko-fi when you buy Pro, and Last.fm or Spotify if you connect now playing (see above).

We don't use analytics or advertising trackers. If you'd rather not load Ko-fi or Google Fonts, a content or tracker blocker will stop them; the visuals work without them.

Pro license

Pro is a one-off purchase delivered as a license key. It's for your personal use on your own computers and browsers. Please don't share or resell it. Visuals added later are included. We may improve, change or retire individual visuals over time.

Refunds: if Pro doesn't work for you, email us within 14 days of buying for a full refund, and we'll cancel the key. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Using the visuals

You're welcome to show the visuals in your livestreams, recordings, DJ sets and parties, including monetized ones. The free visuals show a small credit; please don't hide or crop it. You may not resell the visuals themselves, or present them as your own work.
